Square RADAR key entry switch
This heavy duty, weather resistant RADAR key entry switch is designed for reliable performance in both indoor and outdoor settings. It features a built in LED status indicator and comes with a RADAR key (colour of key may vary), providing accessible entry for those who need it.
The lock is extremely easy to operate, requiring only a smooth, non resistive quarter turn. Much simpler and more user friendly than traditional mechanical locks. It includes two waterproof microswitches wired in series to maintain security and ensure consistent performance.
Constructed with 316 stainless steel escutcheon and internal parts, the unit is built to withstand heavy use and harsh conditions. It accepts all official RADAR keys without jamming, ensuring dependable access every time.
The integrated LED indicators make the status clear to all users. Green LED and sounder confirm activation, while red and blue LEDs show engaged or vacant status, with dual colours designed to assist colour-blind users.
This lock works seamlessly with our WCPCB system, which controls the maglock, lock/open sensor, and automatic door operator for a fully integrated and accessible solution.
What is a RADAR Key?
A RADAR key provides disabled people with independent access to locked accessible toilets across the UK. While these toilets are essential and legally required in many places, they are often locked to prevent misuse. With a RADAR key, disabled users can unlock these facilities without needing to rely on staff or attendants. For anyone with mobility challenges, having a RADAR key on hand ensures convenience, dignity, and ease of access.

▪ Automatic door doesn’t open when it should
Solution:
-
Remove the two wires from the C and NO door activation terminals on the control board and join them together.
-
If the door still doesn’t open, the problem lies with the operator—contact the supplier/manufacturer.

Solution:

Check the override keyswitch position.

Ensure the break glass hasn’t been pressed
