DPTS Disabled Persons Toilet Locking Systems

Our toilet locking systems are the systems of choice due to their simple, easy to use, reliable and adaptable designs. The switches are great for people who struggle with dexterity, because no physical press is needed. They have an activation range of up to 70 mm. The red and blue status indicators have also been chosen to aid people with visual impairments.

Our labels have been manufactured using SteriTouch®, an antimicrobial protection with built-in silver ion technology. They offer protection against a range of bacteria including the Flu Virus, E. coli, MRSA, Salmonella and Legionella, as well as black mould growth, biofilm and fungi. Unlike surface disinfectants which temporarily eliminate bacteria from surfaces, the built-in protection will never wash off or wear away, protecting it for its lifetime! The acrylic labels are non scratch, anti-reflective and non-porous which makes them easy to clean and maintain, controlling the growth of bacteria and fungi without affecting the colour or transparency.

Importantly, the SteriTouch® additives are unaffected by cleaning chemicals such as chlorine bleach, disinfectants and alcohol. Even harsh industrial products like MEK (methyl ethyl ketone) do not diminish the antimicrobial properties.

How does it work?

When the door is unlocked you can enter manually or operate the external sensor for assisted entry.

• Once inside the cubicle, activate the internal sensor which will lock the door.
• When you are ready to exit, activate the internal sensor again to unlock the door with assisted exit.
