OSE-RP Optical Safety Edge Rubber Profile

Keep your doors safe, responsive, and protected with our Optical Safety Edge EPDM Rubber Profile, engineered to work seamlessly with our OSE-S 7502 optical eyes and Radioband 3G. This durable rubber profile adds a crucial layer of protection to the closing edge of your door, helping prevent injuries and damage before they happen.

When pressure is applied and the rubber deforms, the internal light beam is interrupted, instantly signalling the control panel to stop and reverse the door. Giving you peace of mind with every open and close.

Available from 1 metre and in convenient 0.5-metre increments up to 6 metres, the profile can be easily trimmed on site for a perfect fit. Need something longer? Just get in touch, custom lengths can be arranged.

Don’t Forget the End Stops

For a complete installation, pair your safety edge with our OSE-ES plastic end stops. These sit at each end of the profile, ensuring the door rests on the stops (not the rubber) when closed. This prevents crushing, protects the optical eyes, and still allows the sealing lip to sit comfortably against the floor.
