Wiegand Convertor
The WIEG-BOARD is a compact Wiegand converter and mini controller designed to enhance security and simplify access control integration. It converts a Wiegand signal into a lock or relay output, making it compatible with a wide range of Wiegand 26–37, 56, or 58-bit proximity readers and keypads.
Unlike standard standalone systems, the relay and memory are built into the WIEG-BOARD, which is installed on the secure side (inside) of the door. This design ensures that even if the external reader or keypad is removed, entry cannot be gained by tampering with or shorting the connection wires.
When a registered card or PIN is presented, the controller’s relay activates to unlock the door or release the lock, providing secure and reliable access control in any environment.

▪ The master card doesn’t work
Answer:
The supplied master card only works with EM readers. If you have a Mifare reader, you will need to add a Mifare card as the master card. See the reset to factory default section on page 11 to do this.
