Automatic Door Touch Sensors
Our DDA-compliant door touch sensors are designed with people in mind. Each sensor features a scratch-resistant, antimicrobial faux stainless-steel acrylic label, combining durability with a clean, modern look. They’re perfect for manually activating automatic doors, access control systems, door entry points, and a wide range of other switching applications.
Unlike traditional mechanical push pads, our touch sensors require no physical pressure at all. This makes them especially accessible for users with limited mobility or physical disabilities. Sensitivity levels can be easily adjusted, and a clear audible beep confirms when the sensor has been activated.
Bold signage and built-in sounders provide valuable support for users with visual or hearing impairments, helping to create a more inclusive environment for everyone.
We believe our touch sensors are some of the most modern, user-friendly, and hygienic switches available today. By reducing the need for physical contact, they help limit the spread of germs and offer a cleaner, safer alternative to traditional push pads and hospital switches.

◾ Touch sensor doesn’t beep/activate when touched
Step-by-step checks: After each step below, de-power the system for 10 seconds and power it back up.
- Screw the sensor to the wall properly, don’t have it dangling or in your hand.
- Change the sensitivity.
- Ensure the jumper next to the touch sensor relay is on and is making properly.
- Make sure 0V is in the correct terminal, not the REM terminal.
- Use a multimeter to check you’ve got voltage at the touch sensor (+V Red & 0V black).
- Take off the wall and connect power directly to the power supply on a short piece of cable to rule out any cable issues or short circuits.
â—¾ Touch sensor activates randomly
Solution:
- Turn down the sensitivity on the touch sensor, especially if there is emergency lighting nearby.
- Make sure there isn’t excess cable in the back box.
- Re-terminate all connections.
- Touch sensors can be activated by changes in voltage which is a problem on unregulated power supplies. Fit a separate transformer.
