Programming
This can be carried out by SMS text messaging, by using Videx’s smartphone Apps (the SMS Wizard for users or the SMS Wizard PRO for installers and engineers) both of which are available to download for free from Google Play (for android devices) or from the App Store (for iOS devices). Programming can also be carried out using the GSMSK PC software either connected via the micro USB port or RS485 bus or remotely via the new “over the air” feature (programming is still carried out using the PC software however the 4G GSM module is not physically connected to a PC directly by the micro USB port or RS485 bus).
An event log (up to 4000 stored events) is maintained within the 4G GSM module and can be downloaded via the USB port or RS485 bus connection using the PC software or can be viewed remotely and monitored in real time using the online web browser events application (the events can be viewed on any device such as a smartphone, tablet or PC).
