Wiegand Convertor
Converts Wiegand signal to lock/relay output.
The WIEG-BOARD is a mini controller that can connect to any Wiegand 26-37, 56, 58 bits proximity reader or keypad.
It can be used for high security systems because the relay and the memory is in the WIEG-BOARD, which is fitted on the secure side (inside) of the door. If the connected reader or keypad is removed from the wall entry cannot be gained by shorting or cutting the wires, unlike standalone systems. When a card or PIN that is stored in the controller’s memory is registered, the relay will switch, opening the door or releasing the lock.
