EL00PM-RAD-K Wireless Post Mount Above Ground Magnetic Vehicle Detector

£411.80 EX VAT

The AES Above Ground Magnetic Vehicle Detector is a side-on vehicle detection solution ideal for driveways unsuited to traditional ground-mounted loops or for ease of installation with no cutting into the road surface and no cables run back to the gate controller.

Mount to a post at the side of the driveway 600mm from the floor with the e-Loop facing the desired detection area.

The post-mounted wireless magnetic vehicle detection system uses military grade magnetometer sensors. With added radar confirmation, to detect the presence and movement of vehicles at a range of up to 3 metres. Offered exclusively with presence mode capability, the Post-Mounted e-Loop can act in both presence mode and exit mode (use of diagnostic tool needed).

When the e-Loop detects a vehicle it transmits a signal to the transceiver in the gate box which opens the gate.

Answer:

  • Ensure loop is held directly beside transceiver for pairing process, initiate code process on transceiver, this should automatically detect loop and successfully pair if close enough. For commercial or inground loops: these can be paired in close proximity or in location by using pairing method 2.

Answer:

The loop can be placed up to 50M away from the transceiver using supplied antenna, ensure a clear line of sight between loop & transceiver. Please note: housing the transceiver in a metal enclosure or close to high voltage power lines could reduce the transmission range. If you are having issues, please try house the transceiver in its own separate enclosure or try an external antenna.

Answer:

  • Press and hold the code button for approx. 11 seconds until you see all 3 LED’s on transceiver flash up. This will clear the memory of the transceiver, you can then go ahead and start the pairing/coding process with your loop/s.

Solution:

Test by placing metal object or driving vehicle over loop, on the transceiver check if Red/RX LED comes on while doing so, this will indicate the loop is triggering and signal sent to transceiver firstly. If gate is not triggering, double check wiring from gate motor, you can also test & prove relay is changing state by using a multi-meter. If still having issues, please call technical support to discuss further. +44 28 8639 0693
