Radioband 3G System

The 3rd generation wireless Radioband is the most sophisticated and secure to date. It is compatible with all control panels on the market, and can be used with all types of edge, including our special always activated edge, standard low powered optical edge, resistive edge and electromechanical (NC) edge.

  • On this system the receiver plugs directly into the control panel
  • Smart adjustment of communication power between the receiver and the transmitter, providing a greater range than previous generations. Now 50 metres.
  • The RB3 T868 transmitter features 2 independent inputs to enable the connection of 2 safety edges to the same transmitter. Depending on the position of the three selector switches, one or the other safety edge can be connected.
  • Automatic management of the communication channel between the receiver and the transmitter. (Up to 4 self-adjusting channels 868MHz).
  • Possibility of having the optical safety edge permanently activated without the need for a safety edge activation signal, in accordance with EN 13241-1.
  • Low battery buzzer

MUV2-HP handheld remote transmitters

Single phase roller and sectional doors. Garage doors, shopfronts & commercial.

  • Change the batteries in the safety edge transmitter.
  • Turn off the power. Swap the brown and black motor wires.
  • Note: The door will revert to deadman if there is a fault with the radiosens or photocell. Press and hold the close button on the panel or remote, after a few seconds it will start to close.
  • The LEDs above the inputs (IN1, IN2 & IN3) indicate whether the input is active. If the LED above IN1 is on, you have a problem with the photocell circuit. If the LED above IN3 is on, you have a problem with the stop button circuit.
    • If IN1 is on, check the photocell is clean, aligned properly that the cables are undamaged. If no photocell is fitted, check the terminals are linked.
    • If IN3 is on, check that the emergency stop button hasn’t been pressed and that the cable to it is undamaged. If no stop button is fitted, check the terminals are linked.
  • Check the dipswitches in the transmitter are set correctly for the type of safety edge. Reset the receiver card, reprogram the safety edge and door movement.
  • Check the safety edge is not pressed.
  • If the door has been running a lot in a short period of time and the control panel is clicking when it receives an input, it is likely the motor thermal cutout. Wait half an hour and try again. This is not a problem with the control panel.
  • If the control panel is clicking when a remote or button is pressed, check the motor wiring and condition.
  • The LEDs above the inputs (IN1, IN2 & IN3) indicate whether the input is active. If the LED above IN3 is on, you have a problem with the stop button circuit.
    • If IN3 is on, check that the emergency stop button hasn’t been pressed and that the cable to it is undamaged. If no stop button is fitted, check the terminals are linked.
